Dave and Paul received the 100 Gbit/sec yellow fibres from IS&T (left with Dave) and our subMIT switch is plugged in using the pink fibre (right with Zhangqier). The switch went smoothly on Tuesday (February 24, 2023).
Subsequent testing revealed node-to-node network throughput between Building 24 and Bates of up to 88 Gbit/sec (11 Gbytes/sec), approaching the wire speed limit.
